9 Daily Habits That Will Make You Happier

All of us have a set of habits that we are habituated to. Some of these habits are helpful and good while others are not. The fact is that these habits, the good and the bad ones, together, decide the happiness in our lives. While I can list the set of habits that are part of my overall self, I would like to share the one that has really helped me right through my life in building relationships - having a sense of gratitude and expressing the same at every opportunity. My experience is that one need not have to right lengthy letters or poems or send greeting cards but a genuine 'Thank You' itself will make a difference.

Happiness is the only true measure of personal success. Making other people happy is the highest expression of success, but it's almost impossible to make others happy if you're not happy yourself.
With that in mind, here are nine small changes that you can make to your daily routine that, if you're like most people, will immediately increase the amount of happiness in your life:

1. Start each day with expectation.

If there's any big truth about life, it's that it usually lives up to (or down to) your expectations. Therefore, when you rise from bed, make your first thought: "something wonderful is going to happen today." Guess what? You're probably right.

7 Habits That Are Making You Miserable

Tired of dealing with the same type of misery over and over and over again?

If so, it’s time to purge some bad habits.  It’s time to learn from your mistakes rather than be conquered by them, and let your errors be of commission rather than omission.
It’s time to stop…

1.  Sticking exclusively with what you already know.

When you stop learning you stop living a meaningful life.

10 Habits That Are Making You Miserable At Work !

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
This is what the famous Greek Philosopher Aristotle said centuries back.
All of us do have a set of habits that we are used to, and we follow them many times without being aware of them; while some of these habits are useful and helpful, some of them are not. And those habits, especially at work, that are not the right ones would make us feel miserable.
Here is a list of 10 Habits That Are Making Us Miserable At Work!

6 Habits of Extraordinary Bosses

There are bosses and bosses…in my career of more than three decades i have had about 15 bosses…they came in several shapes, sizes, colours and of course unique minds. If I look back now, I can hardly remember and name three of them for their contributions to my career. The fact is that your boss is one gentleman (or a lady) who can make or break your career, whether you like it or not. And what your boss is or is not has a tremendous bearing on your life in general and career in particular. Those of you who have heard and known about 'Pygmallion Effect', you know how truthful it is.
